Welcome to American Lutheran School
2025–2026 marks American Lutheran School’s 37th year serving families with young children in the Prescott, AZ area. As a preschool-only program, we provide an intentional, Christ-centered enrichment experience that complements the nurturing foundation parents provide at home. Our mission is to foster a strong partnership between teachers and families to bring out the best in each student—spiritually, socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically. Children are encouraged to explore and develop their unique abilities through hands-on learning experiences and a wide variety of engaging activities that nurture both academic and spiritual growth in a loving environment.
Morning Pre-School For Ages 3-5

American Lutheran School offers a nurturing, Christ-centered morning preschool program for children ages 3–5. Our school hours are 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM, with extended care available until 1:00 PM. We maintain a 1:12 teacher-to-student ratio, supported by a classroom aide 1–2 days per week to ensure every child receives personal attention and care.

Children must be 3 years old by August 31st and toilet-trained before enrolling. Students are expected to use the bathroom and dress independently. To support busy families, we also offer early morning care (8:00–8:30 AM) and lunch care (11:30 AM–1:00 PM) for a minimal fee.

Programs
Our purpose is to instill the strong roots of God's love and His Word in the children we serve. We are an intentional enrichment program; enhancing what families are doing at home in the areas of spiritual growth, academics, and socialization. Our goal is to prepare our students and their families for the next step in their educational journey.
